Crafting a Business 鈥 On Thursday, February 19, 2026 we hosted a conversation with Alison Hardy, founder of , who discussed how she conceived of her window restoration business in the early 2000s, how she chose a simple yet effective business name, how to build a brand identity that鈥檚 meaningful and true to your work, and how her business has grown and changed over the years.

After years of frustration with old, drafty windows, Alison Hardy couldn鈥檛 justify tossing out ones full of charm and character. Leaning into her Yankee thrift she began restoring her own windows, then those of friends, and eventually paying clients. In 2003,聽Window Woman of New England聽was born.
